Introduction to Beekeeping FALL 2026

CLASS DATES: NOVEMBER 6-8, 2026

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! 

This 3 day course provides an individual the opportunity to see into one of nature's most wonderous attributes: Honeybees! Each participant will learn the basics of beekeeping.  Knowledge gained will propel a participant through their first year of beekeeping. All course manuals will be provided. Hands-On experience during the class. Feel free to visit our retail beekeeping supply store to obtain all your protective gear prior to the day of training. Hand tools will be provided during the apiary visit. Liability waivers are required. One child; age 17 and under may attend free with a paid adult enrollment.  Please provide the Childs Name and Age in the comments section at checkout. Children must be accompanied by adults during training. 

Once Registration is Complete, there will be a $50 Cancellation Fee.

There will be NO REFUND if canceled after OCTOBER 26, 2026

This is a rain or shine event!  Please be prepared for outdoor instruction.

Class will start on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and will go till approx. 4 p.m. Class on Sunday will start at 8:30 a.m. and will go till approximately 1pm. 

We will meet at the HAMPTON INN Located in JACKSONVILLE in their NEW RIVER MEETING ROOM.

HANDS ON PORTION will take place at our Bee Farm, located at 6164 Richlands Hwy, Richlands NC 28574. You will need to wear protective gear during hands on portion. (Our shop will be open if you need to purchase day of event.)
